Breakfast is included in the price and we shop before heading there and prepare most of our own meals it's a bit of a trick with just a microwave for cooking but you can save some serious cash with a little creativity and still eat well. I really enjoy the snorkeling and I'm a diver last fall I had some wonderful surprises with both endeavors. My husband is an avid fly fisherman which is part of the draw there - unguided access to great flats that don't get much pressure is a treasure for him. We've enjoyed Tranquility Bay on 2 occasions, a week each time, most recently last fall. Also we might be traveling in or out over the Easter weekend, will this effect anything? Thank you all for your help!Įaster is the busiest time of the year for visiting Belize prices are highest then and popular places fill up so starting early like this is a good idea. Right now I am leaning towards Duplooy's. I think I have decided for the beach stay at Tranquility Bay for 4 nights ( do you recommend this? snorkeling off shore vs staying at a different resort and going of excursions) It will be expensive but from what I read it might be worth it? I need help with the jungle stay it just seems as though everything is very expensive and over what budget we have left. our total budget for everything including airfare is about $12,000 and airfare is eating up a large chunk of this just to get there. I have done some research and I think splitting our time between the jungle and beach might be best. Priorities for the family include the ATM tour, seeing the wildlife (birds, mammals), cave tubing, snorkeling, and relaxing on the beach. Hello, we are a family of 5 looking to visit Belize for the first time in late March 2018 for about 6 or 7 nights.
